From The North

• Follow the main road through Galashiels signposted Carlisle. (A7)
• Pass the fire station on your left and go straight over a mini roundabout, staying on the A7 and we are the first bed & breakfast on the left hand side.

From the South

• Follow A68 Jedburgh, Melrose to Galashiels
• Follow A7 Hawick Selkirk to Galashiels
• Pass welcome to Galashiels sign, on A7, straight on and we are the third house on the right.

Taxis

• We can arrange taxis/pickups, to and from anywhere in the Borders.

Local Attractions

• Abbotsford house, the ancestral home of Sir Walter Scott . Galashiels is steeped in local history, castles, abbeys and monuments of Scotland's heritage all on our doorstep.
• Walking - There are plenty of beautiful walks to enjoy the area. We are an ideal stop for local walkers on the Southern Upland Way.
• Golf - With numerous golf courses nearby, why not take advantage of the 'Freedom of the fairways' golf passport, which we can arrange.
• Fishing - Excellent on the Tweed for salmon and trout.
• We are on the main bus route to Edinburgh, the journey takes approximately 1 1/4 hours. Also route to other major Border towns. Galashiels centre is just a 10 minute walk, where there are plenty hospitable pubs and restaurants.
